GN | MC’s creation TIME TAKES THE TIME TIME TAKES is a quintet co created by Guy Nader and Maria Campos in 2015 and directed by Guy Nader with live music by Miguel Marin.

TTTTTT is a coproduction by Mercat de les Flors in Barcelona, premiered during Aerowaves/Spring Forward in Barcelona in April 2015. This project has been created at Graner and La Caldera in Barcelona. The result of a first creation phase is presented as “work in process” at the CO2 Festival in Baakline and Beirut, Lebanon in October 2014.

This project is born out of the admiration for the rhythm and musicality that movement creates. A latent and constant rhythm that marks the passage of time. Based on a simple physical task such as pendulum, we create a sequence of complex mechanisms that are done and undone by the complicity of the five performers.

SYNOPSIS

TIME TAKES THE TIME TIME TAKES is a physical dynamic conversation through movement repetitions and pendulum leitmotiv that embodies mechanisms measuring time and space. A journey of dangling movements that burst into different encounters evolving towards a perpetual mobile. An ongoing wheel that suggests time as a continuum.

TTTTTT contemplates time as a fundamental concept through the repetition and accumulation of oscillations, creating complex mechanisms and constellations in space and time.

A physical, poetic and choreographic manifestation that proposes a perceptual experience through persistence and perseverance, evoking an eternal present rooted in materials and forms.

“Tiny glints of human nature flicker in this beautiful, sleek, mineral world – a world where precious time slips by unnoticed.”  by Oonagh Duckworth ( Springback Aerowaves )
